Выводы и заключения
Совершённый поход позволил получить значительную туристическую информацию о южной части Ферганского хребта. Александром Пуриковым впервые составлена подробная туристическая схема района и предложена нумерация перевалов. На схему нанесены отснятые нами на местности объекты, представляющие интерес для туристов: морены, тропы, снежные мосты, родники, прижимы, коши, труднопроходимые кустарники и т. д., а также несколько ледников, отсутствующих на топографической карте (два из них — длиной более километра). Описаны подходы по долинам рек Терек и Каракульджа, пройдены и отфотографированы перевалы и вершины. Выполнена панорамная фотосъемка значительного количества цирков и горных узлов.
Особое внимание хотелось бы обратить на лед. Баяман (№ 90). По сравнению с описаниями и фотографиями из похода Юрия Браткова 1994 года, ледник значительно изменился. Юрий никак не упоминает ледопад в среднем течении во всю ширину языка, хотя в рамках препятствия 2Б категории не заметить его невозможно. Вероятно, ледник был сильно завален снегом. Путь подъема на пер. Арпа-Кулун, первопройденный Ю. Братковым, в этом году выглядел опасным и нелогичным.
Что касается спортивной составляющей маршрута, то в условиях прохождения всех препятствий «on sight» мы не смогли выбрать набор препятствий таким образом, чтобы набрать на заявленную 5 к.сл., но одновременно нигде не превысить 3А к.сл. Тем не менее, поход оказался достаточно насыщенным и позволил большинству участников реализовать свои спортивные амбиции.
